HWSS is a small, but experienced team of computer professionals, each with over 18 years of experience in the computing industry. Our collective experience includes many computing platforms and technologies, but building applications for the web is definitely the most enjoyable, since it allows us to blend multimedia technology with advanced graphics and more traditional technologies like databases.

As freelance consultants, we enjoy building relationships, and sometimes partnerships, with our clients - strong teamwork and flexibility are key to our success. In addition, we believe in listening to our clients and helping them find a solution that really meets their broader business goals.

We take a collaborative approach to our solution designs, and work with each client to find the best ideas for their solution, which also fit within their budget needs. Most web solutions are evolving projects, done in stages. This approach works best for most small businesses and individual professionals, who want to quickly establish a web presence, but don't want to invest in a full-blown web solution all up front.

Finally, we use an iterative approach to our designs, working with our clients to get feedback and ideas. While it's not practical to do this indefinitely (due to the time cost), it usually takes 2-3 design iterations to get a result that fits within the client's budget and satisfies their design requirements.
