Every web solution project is unique and can require a mixture of our skills to complete (such as graphics design, HTML coding, database programming, photography). Therefore, we sit down with prospective clients for a free consultation to fully understand what functionality is required and what may be optional in each stage of the solution. Based on the initial consultation, we provide a detailed proposal with estimates for both the required and optional functions. Estimates are not guarantees, and the final cost will be based on hourly charges, depending on the exact services provided.

For example, the cost to build or redesign a basic website (including setup of the web hosting service, design of new graphics, and coding of 10 separate HTML web pages with content provided by the client) will typically run between $700.00 to $900.00, which equates to about 12-15 hours of work. One factor that often affects the final cost of a basic website is the amount of photo processing required for scanning, retouching and optimizing photographs provided by the client. Additional multimedia or photographic services can also raise the cost of a new or redesigned basic website.

For projects involving web server database programming (such as implementing a client database with a web interface, or customizing an ecommerce package), the number of hours required will be higher - again, depending on the exact functionality required.
